And from what I have seen here and what the governor has briefed me, we can talk to them to partner with Ogun state in the education sector

Cooter who briefed newsmen after the courtesy call said Canada had a long history of supporting education in Nigeria.

“We’ve been in Nigeria on agriculture; research in development, investment, infrastructure, transport. We also discussed that, that’s Canada greater interest of coming to Nigeria. We also discussed the upcoming conference in… in May where a large number of senior Nigerian decision makers and business people will be going and the purpose of that conference is to introduce Nigeria to Canadian business. For that conference, 200 to 300 Canadian companies, 200 or 300 from Nigeria and we are going to lay foundation for a much more, better relationship not for Nigeria but also the states,” he said.
