Cowbell Mathematics Competition First Stage Results – Ogun State


The results of the First Stage of the 2008 Cowbell National Secondary School Competition examination which held on Saturday,
February 10, 2007 has been posted on Promasidor website.

Of the 469 entries from Ogun State for the Junior category, 12 year old Miss SHODIPO A. Abolaji of Mayflower School, Ikenne came first with a total of 98%, followed by Master OGUNDIMU R. Olayinka (14 yrs) of Omolara Comprehensive College, Agbado (96%) and Miss SANNI M. Ololade (11 years) of Ota Total Academy, Ota with 93%.

In the Senior category, Master DUROJAIYE Oluwadamilola with (94%) and Miss NIAMEH U. Racheal (89%) both of Mayflower Senior School, Ikenne clinched the first and second position respectively while POPOOLA Peter-Paul of Ota Total Academy, Ota with 88% came third. There were 449 entries from Ogun State.

The first position in Junior and Senior Category would be representing the state for Second and final Stage Exam (National). Here is wishing Miss SHODIPO Abolaji and Master DUROJAIYE Oluwadamilola all the best.

Master Sanni Abdulmusawwir of Ota Total Academy, Ota, Ogun State emerged as the overall best student for the Senior Category at last year’s edition.
