New Principal General Sworn-In

Two new principal generals have been sworn-in by the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun with a charge on them to be more dedicated and responsible to take Education to an enviable height in the state.

The swearing-in of Mr. Funso Olayiwola Ogun and Alhaja Hafsat Ayinde was held at the executive chambers of the Governor’s office oke mosan, Abeokuta.

The heartbeat of the senator Ibikune Amosun led Administration is the restoration of education to its glorious days which is evident in the force education policy of the government, distribution of free bags among many other landable step.

In furtherance of the rebuilding agenda of the education sector in the state is the swearing in of Mr. Funso olayiwola Ogun and Alhaja Hafsat Ayinde as principals General as Governor Ibikunle Amosun assured teachers in the state of prompt payment of salaries and other entitlements, disclosing that the 2009 and 2010 promotion of teachers has been approved by the government

He noted that his administration is ready for the 2012/2013 session as the government will continue the construction and renovation of schools across the 20 Local Government Areas of the state

On Local Government Affairs Senator Amosun revealed that government has been augmenting the payment of salaries and wages of Local Government workers to the tune of 400million naira monthly until their appointment, Mr.Funso Olayiwola Ogun was arm the principal of Abeokuta Grammar School Senior Secondary while Alhaja Hafsat Ayinde was the Principal of Igbesa High School
