TESCOM Inducts Another Batch Of Principals, VPs


The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission has again appointed another batch of Principals and Vice-Principals into the public secondary schools across the State.

This development brings the number of Principals and Vice-Principals appointed since the Senator Ibikunle Amosun administration came on board to 84 and 197 respectively.

Speaking while inducting them, the Commission’s Chairman, Ms. Olubukonola Onabanjo explained that the appointment of the new Principals and Vice Principals was purely on merit and devoid of any political consideration.

She urged the inductees to get acquainted with the necessary professional guidelines and requisite information for successful performance.

“Today’s ceremony marks the beginning of series of initiation and training process in your new appointment as principals as you will be expected to continue from here to get yourself the necessary guidelines to bring about successful performance” Ms. Onabanjo stated.

The Chairman urged them to give unflinching loyalty, maximum support and cooperation to the State government by creating a better access to qualitative education through its free education policy and guide against any form of abuse or non- compliance with Government’s directives.

Responding on behalf of other inductees, the new Principal of Molipa High School, Ijebu-Ode, Mr John Olusola Odukoya thanked the Commission for finding them worthy of the appointment and promised to improve on the qualities that earned them the positions.
